We did a girl's retreat in November. The theme was In the Eye of the Beholder, a theme thought of by one of our junior girls who helped lead the weekend. We used the Rave videos to reinforce the girl's worth and value in Christ. One of our leaders, Brandi, bought the first RAVE video at Lifeway's Girl's Forum 2010. Krista, the girl who came up with the theme, even wore a red dress and said mean things to the girls. We decorated tables and gave them handouts in red to emphasize that Satin will lie to them about their worth and they can fall into the gossip, sex and comparison that the RAVE video hit on. At the end of the retreat as they were leaving to go out the door we recorded each of them saying, "I am fearfully and wonderfully made." - Angie Millard
