For Moms
Dear Mom,
Even though I don't always act like it; I really do love you and look up to you. Thank you so much for all that you have done for me. I'm sorry that I don't say thank you enough. You might not know that I know you care, but I do. Mom, you're the greatest.
Love, your daughter
"She keeps an eye on everyone in her household, and keeps them all busy and productive. Her children respect and bless her; her husband joins in with words of praise: Many women have done wonderful things, but you've outclassed them all! Charm can mislead and beauty soon fades. The woman to be admired and praised is the woman who lives in the Fear-of-God." Proverbs 31: 28-30 The Message

DON'T:
-assume your daughter is perfect! We all mess up and your daughter is among those. (check out stats video on this site)
-try to correct your mistakes through her or live your life through her. You had your chance, now it is her time!
-try to be her best friend. She has plenty of those, you are her MOM.....so act like it!
DO:
-try to spend time with her. She might be busy and so are you, but make a conscience effort to be with her.
-keep her accountable and stay up to date on what she is facing.
-strive to keep your self image at a healthy level so she sees you as the Godly confident woman He made you. You help dictate so much of how she feels about yourself. Time for you to feel beautiful too!
-let her see you have a personal relationship with Christ. The best way is to lead by example. Walk the Walk!
